Why I am a supporter
Because I love our Planet Earth and the diversity of creation. Because any movement begins as a tiny shift in one's own attitudes and beliefs but has the potential to become huge by spreading the word through existing networks, especially in this age of global Internet communications – and also by this movie! Because the transition to renewable energy generation is a much-needed change that we must bring about – and it is in full swing already. Because decentralised, 100% renewable, zero-emission generation by individuals and local communities is key to reconciling humankind with Mother Earth. Because WE need to act for the new as big corporates cling to the old at almost any cost.

Because information on renewable energies is a matter of survival of humankind. The technologies exist worldwide – now, we have to come to action.

As entrepreneur with orientation towards sutainability, I want to contribute to the implementation of solar change: By giving information, activating discourses and my own economic behaviour.
Why I am a supporter
Since 2000, I am professionally engaged in wind energy business – by doing so I am convinced that the renewable energy sources represent the best option for power generation right now and in the future. I have worked for years in the development of wind turbines. My primary goal is to continually improve the technology and make it even more reliable. Since 2009, these goals also serve for my own company. I am personally committed to a project in Brazil, as part of Engineers Without Borders, which works on the replacement of diesel pumps to solar pumps (PV systems for the supply of pumps) in the arid northeast of the country. This will primarily help people who suffer the consequences of energy waste and CO2 emissions of the industrial nations. I am convinced that the population must be advised of the fact that the energy supply through renewable energies is definitely possible. Therefore, I support the concept of the movie ENERGY AUTONOMY. I do also think that it is necessary to offer a counterstatement to the negative media coverage in the recent years.
Why I am a supporter
I am a private operator of solar plants. The solar panels are installed exclusively on school house roofs. The transition to regenerative power generation and the preservation of the remaining rainforest (I do also support a fairtrade project), will be the main tasks for the preservation of liveliness on our planet.
Why I am a supporter
Without doubt the climate change and the influence on it depending on our own behavior is one of the most important questions of our time. In this conflict the factual information, the indication of perspectives and the encouragement to acting are very important – the film can and will make a contribution to this.

The three couples of us are convinced that a climate and environmentally friendly energy supply is imperatively required. Through this a contribution to a fair world and to pacification can be done.
Why I am a supporter
The transition to a sustainable and fair production and consumption of energy is one of the greatest challenges we are all facing. This is a responsibility all humans share. I hope this movie will not only wake up as many people as possible but will also induce the necessary actions. Through photos and journalism I realized how amazing and precious this world is and that the imagination of people brings forward solutions that lead to changes. If we support each other's ideas and projects energy autonomy becomes possible, not only as a movie but also in reality.
Why I am a supporter
Our way of life and our use of energy are injust in at least 3 respects: the following generations, the fellow men and the environment. The urgently needed change of our energy system linked to the sustainable acting of as many people as possible, is able and has to create a better world.
Why I am a supporter
The major energy suppliers continue fighting againgst renewable energies. Doing so, they show their unwillingness to contribute adaequately to the protection of our life stock through radically reducing their CO2 emmissions. This will only happen, once the subscription to eco-energy pushes through in the population.

I run a combined heat and power unit with native Rape oil, and I am an energy farmer since 1997. Since 20 years I am doing PR-work for renewable energies.
Why I am a supporter
As an independent journalist I am writing about how wars are more and more about dwindling resources – despite of how propaganda and economic powers might justify them with moral values. And the wars themselves are again causing gigantic suffering and the destruction of environment. Committing to renewable, autonomous energies means peace work for future oriented world politics.
Why I am a supporter
Crash or hard landing – our behaviour in the next ten years will make a difference between the two. We are in desperate need of new impulses in order to move from wanting and knowing to acting. This is a process that cannot be dictated, it has to happen in the heads of the citizens (see also my “energy-project “wattweg”!).

As founding initiative of the foundation Solare Industriegesellschaft (Solar Industrial Society) we have the same interest, which you pursue with your film. A great idea! We met through Otfried Nassauer.
